They Exceeded our Expectations

First of all, I’m also in construction as an HVAC contractor for 35yrs, so I know construction. We were very impressed with Preferred. Great communication, great workmanship. The salesman Jason, gave us an honest quote that was higher than others we received. He did a good job explaining exactly what was in the quote. I know what goes into a quote and the art of estimating. I knew the other quotes we received were suspect due to the lack of detail. If anyone gives you a quote for a driveway that doesn’t spell out the thickness of the pavement and what they do to prepare, consider it incomplete.
They gave us a date and actually was able to fit us in a week earlier. Jason showed up by 8:00am with his Forman and crew. They laid out the area that would receive pavement and confirmed with us. The crew got busy with grading, cut and fill to level out and compact the surface. This was a large driveway that also went behind our shop. So a little more involved than most.
Their Forman Adam was very courteous and checked in multiple times when I came out to watch if it looked good. I could tell he was very conscientious about his work product. Needless to say, they exceeded our expectations. It was obvious to me given the comradery of the crew that they enjoyed what they were doing. When a leader treats his crew with respect and admiration it shows in the quality of the finished product. They cleaned up the site when finished and even one of the workers went back to get empty drink cans and water bottles as they were leaving.
Most folks have had bad experiences with contractors at some point but I’ll say that if you use Preferred, you won’t be disappointed. Worth the extra money spent to have a great job without issues.

The Tenants Are Very Happy

Preferred Asphalt did a great job for me on a Commercial Strip Center parking lot.They provided a very clear estimate on what work was being done on various areas of the lot including Asphalt removal/replacement, sidewalk removal/replacement, sealing, and striping.The finished project greatly enhanced the property and all the tenants are very happy.The company did a great job of planning and coordinating the work with the tenants, barricading and flagging to avoid any customer inconvenience. Communication was very good with myself during the process. His people did a good job of protecting the building surfaces as it was newly painted. There was a small area where the stucco was damaged, and his people professionally repaired and painted the area. I would highly recommend Preferred Asphalt for doing a Quality Job with great communication at a competitive price.
